I told him this was the only piece that really got my attention. He then told me the story of how a taxi driver in NY asked him if he was that famous artist - Warhol...he said yes and out came this rendition of Peter as Andy Warhol w a Mustache.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt was part of his private collection in the studio where he paints. He himself said it was one of his favorites of himself as \"Warhol\"- especially the color palette that evolved out it. The movement he talks about - how each painting starts out with a color palette and becomes a unique piece - even though replicated version: here he told me he started with the rainbow of colors and then built on that and drew in those colors into the face and eyes - There are many \"Warhol\" he has done, he said but for him this was one of his favorites. Mine too, but sadly I am moving abroad and need to downsize everything.
