Upper:
The upper features Topo’s signature fit of a roomy toe box with a secure midfoot and heel. Topo also redesigned the Terraventure 4 with even more room in the toe box. The mesh on the forefoot is closely woven for abrasion resistance and protection while a more open mesh pattern in the midfoot improves drainage and breathability.

Midsole:
An EVA foam midsole is balanced and cushioned enough for thru-hikes and trail runs but still gives you plenty of ground feel.

Outsole:
The Terraventure 4 features a Vibram® Megagrip outsole that gives you a ton of traction grip and durability. There is also a Flexible ESS rock plate that protects against bruising caused by sharp rocks and roots.
